Faruk Ahmed, founder of Memorila, became a millionaire through website development. He learnt this skill at home while observing a strike action by ASUU.
I was introduced to the basics of website development in school. But I did not become proficient in it then. But today I am a millionaire, thanks to web development.
While sitting at home due to an ASUU strike in 2009, I learnt so many details of website development on my own, studying ebooks and practicing on my computer.
I created and launched my first site, OliveSMS.net, based on Joomla in 2013. Memorila, based on WordPress was launched in 2015.
I created a school automation software, Barkasas, based on php, mysql, html, and css in 2018.
I have created many websites for clients, helped others to launch their YouTube channels and did many side projects, some ICT-related and others not.
And today I can quietly say I am a millionaire (Mind you, I am not bragging). I owe much of my success to God and then website development.
You too can become a millionaire tomorrow if you acquire the requisite web development skills today.
